It all started in 1996. Andreas Stentebjerg and Philip Rasmussen were just schoolkids, but soon learned to appreciate the gift of playing music and writing songs. Growing up together in Danish small town Maribo, Andreas and Philip had plenty of time to build a creative partnership inspired by legends such as Marr / Morrissey, Simon / Garfunkel, Lennon / McCartney. Through 1997/1998 they both played in Suede cover band Numb, featuring Rune Hammer on drums. The post highschool years were a turbulent time for both of them. Moving to the Copenhagen suburb in the year 2000 called for changes, and put pressure on the creative partnership. However they managed to keep the creative kettle on the boil, still getting together - still writing new songs. In 2002 a hard disc recorder was bought, from Danish band Nice Little Penguins. The purchase gave Andreas and Philip the ability to make multi track recordings of their songs. In 2003/2004 a rehearsal demo with 10 songs To be Heard Alone was finished. The demo was well received and appreciated by music lovers and music professionels, encouraging Andreas and Philip to continue and want more. In early 2004 Andreas contacted former Numb-member Rune Hammer in relation to starting up a new band. An agreement was made and the band soon started looking for a proper rehearsal studio and buying new gear. In 2005 the band recruited talented bass player Kim Hansen, to fill the empty spaces. March 2006 the rehearsel demo When I wake up the world is different was recorded in baandkraft studios in Copenhagen Northwest suburb, featuring producer / sound engineer Peter Lehmann.
