Biography: (Fabian Bates)Born August 9, 1976, music has been in Fabian since birth. He was born in Galveston and raised in Port Arthur T.X., a small town southeast of Houston. In his early childhood, his family had the chance to help cultivate and influence his talent through Gospel, R&B, Funk and Jazz. At the age of eight, the year 1984, his skill had developed enough to surface and catch his family’s attention. Thats when Fabian’s grandmother hooked him up playing the drums at church. He did this for eight years working with youth, young adult and senior choirs. At the same time, Hip-Hop/electronica begin to trickle down through the U.S. making its mark on the world and Fabian. U.T.F.O., Kraft Work, Africa Bambatta, and Run-DMC were some of the first artist to open his eyes to a culture and music that changed his life forever. By age thirteen Fabian was writing and producing Hip-Hop, R&B and House music. Through his adolescent and young adult years he performed at backyard barbecues, night clubs, neighborhood and underground parties.In August of 2000, Fabian moved to Dallas T.X. and began working the underground music community. In his time there, he has established himself as an international D.J., Producer and Lyricist. When he’s not rocking parties around the world, he’s releasing chart topping club banging hits such as...Relax, Gimmie That and Shake Shake. Forging a sound that incorporates funk, electro and progressive with underlying tone of techno. Fabian Bates generates a sound that is on the cutting edge of the global dance movement.
