About Me

My Website is www.lucindawedge.comI'm politically incorrect. I speak without thinking way too much. As a consequence I'm exceedingly honest. I'm very social. I love my family and they love me. It's good to be loved. I have too much to accomplish in one short life, but I'm going to give it all I've got. I always hope to wake to see a new day and live it. Because I talk too much I tend to ramble, like now. I can't sum up myself in words and a couple of paragraphs. I'm complex and all too simple. I'm an artist and believe me when I tell you - my best art comes from my pain. Living a hard life gives rise to great art, or at least it can if you submit to it. And I still like toast. Okay, enough! Titled - "My childhood"...I have had the good fortune to work with many, many talented people. I want to thank a few of then by name:Eugene Conde - make-up artist and hairstylist (genius) www.EugeneConde.com Noogie Hairstylist (magician)www.noogiestyle.com and Noogies Ninja HairWarriors-Mitzi, Linda and Cecilia Francisco Pinto hairstylist Extraordinary Brenda B Hairstylist Jen Hoover Hairstylist Star Hairstylist Lisa Hairstylist Hillary Smith Hairstylist Patricia Le Make-up Artist (and unwillingly hairstylist, hehehehe)www.patricia-le.com Rachel Kim Make-up Artist (also hair if pressed to) Jennifer Thorington Make-up Artist (hair if she has to)www.jenniferthorington.com Rachel Rose Make-up Artist (doesn't want to but hair...) My Interests

Art, photography, looking at gardens, breakfast with friends at Maxwells and living to the max. LIFE! People! Trying to figure out people. Music, colors, shopping, lights and shadows, designs, .... My family - especially the joy of being with my granddaughter. This is Titled "God Hand"

This is Pricila in the drop of blood. She models for me a lot. She's responsible for all the changes on myspace page. She taught me.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who wants to meet me. Lance Armstrong, The writers of South Park and The Simpsons, would love to sit down to breakfast with that group and just listen to their insanity. I'd like to meet Misha Gordin, my favorite photographer. Check out his art on http://www.bsimple.com.Thank you Pricila for showing me how to do these coool things to myspace space.

Music:

" Titled "3 faces" This image above and below this text are not photoshopped images. They are on one frame of film each. They are painted with light images. Titled "Unwelcome Visitor" My musical taste varies with my moods and according to what I'm doing. When I'm printing, I like rock - Creed, Nickleback, Incubus, etc... When I used to go biking I listened to Sting. At home I love Andrea Bocelli (Romanza), Yo-yo Ma, Alicia Keys, Righteous Brothers, Tracy Chapman, R. Carlos Nakai (Desert Dance), Mary J. Blige, Led Zeppelin, U2, Moody Blues, Jay Z, Ludicrous, Dido, Julie Rayne, String Theory, Rue, and countless others. In bed, I like Nine Inch Nails, City of Angels soundtrack, and others. When I'm in the creative mood I love Evanescence. Like I said my taste varies. Too much great music, too little time to hear it all.

Movies:

I hate gore and spooky movies. My favorite movies are probably in black and white, Classics, especially the film noir period. Alfred Hitchcock movies. Can't be repeated. There have been a lot of Sci-Fi films I have liked. I LOVE Kung Fu movies, of course, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, House of Flying Daggars, Bruce Lee's Enter the Dragon, Hero, Romeo Must Die and countless others. I finally saw Thai Warrior, I admit it was one of the best fight sequences EVER. But it did not live up to being "the best kung fu movie ever" as told to me by the writer of Romeo Must Die. I think House of Flying Daggars is still my favorite. Of course, I haven't seen them all yet. Hahahah, still working on that.

Television:

My favorite show right now is Heroes. Then LOST, then Medium. Then there's all the Law and Order and all the CSI's. I also reluctantly admit to loving American Idol and to voting for the final person two of the seasons. I don't watch any of the reality shows except for American Idol. And now I've voted two times this year, hehehehe. How embarrassing. But, I'm hooked on American Idol. 2007's show rocks! I caught a bit and a piece of America's Next Top Model, I watched the photoshoots then turned it. I don't like all the bitchiness that goes on. Stupid people drama. I'd rather be entertained by non-reality.

Books:

I love Science Ficition and my favorite all time book "Jonathon Livingston Seagull". I like easy reading because I become obsessed and can't stop reading til I'm done. Anything to do with photography or lighting. My favorite photography book is "Still Life and Special Effects Photography", a guide to professional lighting techniques by Roger Hicks and Frances Scultz (RotoVision). My least favorite, hardest, dryest book ever - Ansel Adams, "The Negative", but it helped me tremendously. Glad I read it and then gave it away. The Trail of Tears, People of the Earth by W. Michael and Kathleen O'Neal Gear. There was a whole Michael Moorcock series I read a long time ago about Immortals, loved it, but don't remember the name of the series. It left an impression on me about why we should have a time to be here and a time to go.

Heroes:

Lance Armstrong! Absolutely the best. Misha Gordin, art photographer. I mostly find everyday people to be my heroes. Just getting through this life in one somewhat sane piece is heroic.

This has nothing to do with my heroes. Hahahahha. Just where it happened to fit on the page.
