About Me

Who am I? Why am I here? (Hades, if I know. I am still trying to figure that out.) I am ever seeking to know TRUTH, but am hindered by a constant inner voice of skepticism. I love to discuss different philosophies and spiritual views; but have little patience with dictatorial, dogmatic, fundamentalism. I can be very unconventional in a reserved kind of way. I love animals, movies, music and theater. I am a Systems Analyst for a large health care company. I grew up in New Mexico with a very diverse family and have lived in Colorado since 2002. I am married to a wonderful man who sure knows his way around a piano. I have three step-children (who are adults), and two cats (meow).

My Interests

Buried at PhotoCasket.com

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet obtuse, unimaginative, dull people. (KIDDING!) I like folks who can find inventive ways to have a creative, good time with the ordinary and mundane: Have you ever made a microphone out of a hair brush; contorted your face in the mirror in a "Jim Carrey" like fashion; had intelligent conversations with dogs and cats; invented different ways to imitate bodily functions; Googled the words “Hermetic Tradition”; Sang the "Diarrhea" song? Then you are probably a "kindred spirit". I enjoy intelligent, creative, fun people (Of course).

Music:

I love all styles of music. Currently I a going through a "Celtic" phase. Check out the Celtic section on "Rock.Com" Jim Morrison is my Daemon (the male version of a muse).

Movies:

"All the answers to life's questions are in the movies" (Steve Martin in "Grand Canyon") I can't even to begin to mention all of the movies I am fond of.

Television:

Deadwood, The Sopranos, Rome, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Carnivale, Six Feet Under.

Books:

"The Power of Now" (Eckhart Tolle)

Heroes:

Steven King (for his far-fetched but convincing imagination), Samuel L Jackson (for his tenacity), and Viktor Frankl for his "Search For Meaning."
