We are an independant fraternity based in Denton, TX. All though we are a fraternity we are unlike any other fraternity you have ever heard of. First of all we have both male and female members. We are not exactly a co-ed fraternity, in the way that, both the males and females have completly seperate pledgeships and executive councils.
Previously the Beta Sigma Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu, associated with the University of North Texas, the Delta Lodge is one of the oldest independant fraternities in the nation. We pride ourselves on diversity, we do not discriminate against any race or sex.
We are also the proud owners and operators of the ever famous FRY ST. FAIR!!!! This is a large festival where every year thousands of people flock to the Fry St. area where they will party and listen to the best local music that Denton and even sometimes the metroplex has to offer. The last few years, the fair has not been on Fry St., but in Deep Ellum in Dallas, due to uncooperation from the City of Denton. But after much work, negotiating, and newly elected council members, Fry St. Fair is now back on Fry St. where it truly belongs!!!

Music:

Fry St. Fair is the best place to check out the local music scene in Denton. This year it will be back on Fry St. This years fair was awesome, our first year back and it felt great. It was one of the smaller fairs that we have had but great none the less. We hope to have a larger one next year. We also hold many shows at the three story mansion on Fry St. throughout the year. I will try to keep everyone updated as to when they are and who is playin. Just keep an eye out on here.
