About Ronnie "DIAMOND" Hoard Ronnie's musical career began after graduating from Kiser High School where he went to play drums and singing background for the Blind Boys of Alabama. He then went on to vocalize and perform on various instruments with the Fantastic Violinaires of Detroit. His resume expanded when he joined Jim Nabbies' Ink Spots playing bass and drums. Having played with various local bands and performing around the nation, Ronnie was able to land a lead singer and guitar position with the Grammy Award winning group, The Ohio Players. He was responsible for all but one of the lead vocals on the Graduation album that featured the single, "Sight for Sore Eyes," which ranked 74th on the Billboard chart. Ronnie's solo project "It Is Written," was released in 1996 on the TyScot record label. This project was nominated for a Stellar Award in the new artist category. Ronnie has performed with celebrated artist and groups such as Edwin Hawkins, Dr. Leonard Scott, the late Roger Troutman, Jeff Majors, Pastor Rance Allen, Luther Barnes, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond, Dawkins and Dawkins, Mississippi Mass Choir, East Coast Regional Mass Choir, The Clouds of Joy, Charles Woolfork, and Jennifer Holiday in the Ron Banks production of "Where's My Father." Ronnie is available for performaces, concerts, appearing on programs, preaching, etc.
