About Me

The first thing I want to do before I say anything about me is to honor God for the great things he is doing and has done. Secondly, I honor my wife Robin, son David, daughter Deaundra, family members and friends. There would be no Fitz without God using all of you to mold me into the vessel that brings God the glory during these end times.

John Fitzgerald McGill is a native of Clover, SC. His journey into music began at the early age of 2. His father the late John Lindzay McGill recognized his gift and talent to sing and play guitar early by placing toy guitars in his hand and taking him to all the professional concerts that came near the area. Little Fitz was seen at the concerts with the toy guitar trying to imitate what he was seeing and hearing. When Fitz turned 5, His father knew that it was time to get him a real guitar.
In the early 60’s, manufacturers were not making many small neck guitars that would fit his small hands However, after searching the Carolina’s John McGill found that special guitar in Shelby NC at a local music store which Fitz still has today. His father worked faithfully to provide Fitz with the foundation of wisdom and love that he needed to succeed in life and music until he passed away in 1988.
As a result of diligence, perseverance, and a strong passion for excellence, Fitz has adapted to all music styles. Although his first love is the guitar, he is also skilled on other instruments.
I would like to take a brief moment and honor someone who has been dear to me in my career of music and ministry. Her name is Janice Barnette Adams. Known throughout the world as the "The Queen of Beach" God has used her in so many ways to deliver me, support me, pray for me, and more importantly love the stuggling me through so many dissappointments and set backs. I honor her for the achievements of success in helping so many people get to their Destiny in life. I love you Pastor Janice.
