Kara Sun is one of the unique and few Trance female Dj´s in Europe. Her sets, a mix of Uplifting, Energy and Vocal Trance, are played on the most important radio stations worldwide, ETN, Element Radio, DI.FM, Mix-FM, ETS-Global and Pulse Radio. Primarily she plays in Clubs and Events in the Benelux Staates. But she is also well known and booked in Asia or Latinamerica, where she fills the people with enthusiasmn. With her sensitiveness she wins the favour of the crowds in a short time.
After the graduation as a Sports and Gymnastic Teacher she left Germany and moved to the Netherlands. She was 21 when she started professional working as a dancer and promoter in different Clubs, Discos and Events in Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Mallorca and Italy.
As an energetic dancer she always tried to get the fitting music to her performance, but her favorite style got rare, the mainstream changed to Hip Hop and House, so she decided to become a DJ to play that music that she loves. It was in 2001 when she bought her first DJ equipment and records and she started mixing her first vinyls.
After some time training she presented her mix CDs to several friends and dj’s and got lots of positive reactions on it. She started playing in 3 local clubs (Nottuln – Airport, Mühlheim – Nightlife, König) and toured then together with 3 German female DJ’s in big German clubs. Her style is much inspired by some of her DJ friends and producers like Piet Bervoets (Rank 1), Arne Reichelt (Alphazone), Ferry Corsten and Ron van den Beuken.
She got her first success outside Germany as a winner of 2 DJ Contests 2003 in the Belgian Club-Disco Atmoz and the Dutch DTF – Club Mixcontest. In January 2005 she became a member of Evolution Music and beginning from then on she started to play in countries like China, Malaysia, Mexico, Colombia, Germany, Poland, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey etc. For 2007 she planned to conquist the USA and go back to Asia and Latinamerica.
