My Interests

Reading, Page Six, Manhattan, museums, looking at pictures of my nieces and nephews in Ireland and London, art house movies, high-quality docs, writing edgy novellas, astrology, watching forensic files (dayum I wish I was a detective), taking " dat wee boy" for long walks, listening to people's problems and dilemmas, problem solving, traveling, working hard, shopping, drinking good coffee, getting invited to hot parties (not by promoters though! ha ha), nice dinners with hot guys, discovering new restaurants, downloading music, delicious cognitive cocktails (not those out of proportion gross ones), comedy and laughing hysterically at observational humor, glossy magazines so I can steal ideas, watching mickey fish skate board, he's so G that kid.PROFESSIONAL BIO: An award-winning publicist who grew up in Northern Ireland. She has been in the entertainment business for nine years and started her career as a hospitality co-ordinator event for the Cinemagic World Screen Festival for Young People and the Foyle International Film Festival. She moved to New York City in 2000 and was appointed Creative Director of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2001. Briege also helped to create ITN Distribution, Inc. the leading distribution company for selling, acquiring and distributing a diverse range of international film titles. She has designed and implemented over 30 Film PR campaigns, produced Red-carpet premieres, organized press junkets and tours, industry panels, award shows, and has coordinated award evaluation for more than 5,000 features, shorts and documentary entries and has written several articles for the Independent Film Quarterly. More recently, Briege was the director of publicity and special events for The Stop Group, a full service entertainment company headquartered in Soho, New York. Briege formed Designer Events Company in the Spring of 2005 and has implemented successful PR campaigns and several high-profile events including, fashion shows, launch parties, awards shows and film festival events. Briege graduated with an honors degree in Communications and received her M Phil degree from King's College, Aberdeen.
