About Me

Laura Ford is a 21 year old Singer/Entertainer hailing from Ft. Worth, Texas. Laura was introduced to the stage at the young age of only 7, when she started performing with the Texas Girl's Choir. After 5 hard years of work with the Texas Girl's Choir, Laura thought it was time to start performing solo at the many opries in her hometown. She also entertained folks at retirement centers, area restaurants, city celebrations, private parties, rodeos and even at music stores!
For the last few years, Laura has made special trips to Nashville to be apart of the CMA Music Festival, also known as Fan Fair, where she has performed at the Hard Rock Café for three years in a row, and in 2006, she performed at the Gaylord Entertainment Center's, Wolfy's Den. Also, while in Nashville, Laura makes various stops throughout Broadway to showcase her talent. In addition, Laura has added many fans by being apart of the International Fan Club Organization (IFCO) and getting to be apart of the IFCO's Booth inside the Nashville Convention Center during Fan Fair.
Nashville isn't Laura's only place to visit! In fact, Laura has made special appearances throughout the US and even New Zealand and Figi Islands. She has been given the opportunity to perform in New York City to sing at the Hard Rock Café, as well as sing for the firefighters after 9/11. She also went to Oklahoma City to perform for the New York Fire Department, in where she got to open for Steve Holy.
In the 5 years that Laura has been singing, she has been given many opportunities to sing in unique situations. She was invited to sing at the Braschler Theatre in Branson, Missouri. She has been received many honors and awards at the various opries where she has been a 'regular'. Laura won the title of "Honeyfest Idol" after winning a competition in Burleson, therefore giving her the opportunity to represent Burleson at various functions.
Sassy, driven, and goal-oriented, Laura now resides in College Station, Texas, where she is attending college at Texas A&M, majoring in "Finance." If you have been wondering why you haven't seen Laura in your city lately - don't worry, you didn't miss her. However, Laura's music is currently on "hold" so that she may have the best of success during school. At this moment, we don't know what the future holds for her career.
In the meantime, you may check out Laura's music. She has released 3 albums in the last few years.
