This song is not about me . . .

About Me

That's tricky - I try to be interesting, I try to be funny. I want to be a great friend, a fun and loving mother and a passionate wife. It's important to me to feel like I can dialogue with people on compelling and urgent current events, literature and life. I want to be the kind of person that others feel they are better for knowing. But alas, the only one thing I am for certain is a work in progress.

My Interests

Cooking is emerging as a momentary delight for me (until our family begins traveling again). And I just love to sleep in on Saturdays and cook blueberry, chocolate-chip pancakes and eggs for breakfast.

I'd like to meet:

Tom - except that I thought he was my friend, and then I commented on his page and he never commented back, even though I asked him to, and so I'm not so sure about meeting him anymore . . .

Music:

I'm totally into David Gray "White Ladder", and old school Paul Simon right now - I just can't get enough of those guys!

Movies:

It's almost cliche-ish, but I truly love the Lord of the Rings trilogy. For chick flicks I'd have to say The Notebook and French Kiss. Chocolat is always one I come back to. And as corny and 80's as it is, I still love Roxanne! In terms of serious, world-injustice-awarness films, I appreciated The Constant Gardner, and Hotel Rwanda.

Television:

Blech!

Books:

Recent Favorite Read: "My Name is Asher Lev" by Chaim Potok.Otherwise, my favorite authors are, but are not limited to : F.Buechner, M.Helprin, F.Dostoyevsky, M.DeCervantes, A.McCall Smith, PD James, D.Sayers, M.L'Engle

Heroes:
