What is the purpose of NAPromo?
The purpose of this MySpace is to promote & support bands from around the Chicagoland area. I add everyone & anyone. Let's be friends. Promote this site, helping me only helps you.

How does my band get added?
To get added on the page, send (via a MySpace message) the following information:
Band Name
(Genre of Music)
Hometown
COLOR Photo of the Band (EXACTLY 300px wide)
Date/Location of Upcoming Shows in Current Month
How does Band of the Month work?
For example, for February's Band of the Month...throughout January voting takes place. You can vote as many times as the program will allow you. The poll changes the 1st of every month & ends around 11 PM on the last day of the month. The band with the most votes wins. If you're interested in being in the Band of the Month contest for the next month, send me a message & I'll be sure to consider it. However, I only have between 8-10 spots. My policy: first come, first serve. :)
Why would my band want to be Band of the Month?
Well, besides bragging rights...one of your band's songs will be featured on the site for the whole month. The 'extended network' bar will also have a banner of your band. In addition to that, the default picture of NAPromo Chicago will be a flyer promoting upcoming shows for that month a week prior to the show.

Where can I go to book my band?
We at NAPromo Chicago do not book. Who are you?
To answer all messages I have gotten recently. This is a promo site for Chicagoland bands, this is not a personal MySpace. To sum it up, NAPromo Chicago consists primarily of the hardwork of one person, and that would be me. I'm Nicole & I'm from the northwest Chicago suburbs. Yes, I am a girl. Yes, I am seventeen. Yes, I'm only a junior in high school. Yes, I have my own MySpace. I'm the one that responds to all messages & comments. I created this site based upon boredom, but now on interest. I'll try my best to come up to you & say hi at a show, but I'm a very shy person so that probably won't happen.
Do you design the flyers?
Most of them. My friends Stephen from The Setups and Andrew from Tonight, The Prom actually create some of the flyers. We all try to give each band an original one each time. It's most helpful if you provide a theme for us to work off of. You can check the ones we've made in the picture section of NAPromo.
Do you design the banners?
Most of them. Stephen also does banner design. You can see the one's we've made in the blog concerning information about our banners.
Will you go to one of my band's shows?
Pay for the cover fee at the door, & I'm there. Otherwise, I'll sporadically be at shows with my friends.
