JB's Ukulele Hut is located on Guam at the Agana Shopping Center in the heart of Hagatna. It is owned and managed by Jeffrey Perez Borja ("JB"). You can reach us at (671) 472-UKES. . . . . We are dedicated to promoting a fun, positive, and DRUG-FREE, island culture! As Guam's first-and-only ukulele store, we are committed to serving the residents and visitors of our tiny island in the sun. We offer ukuleles, instructional books, CD's, DVD's, and in-store lessons. . . . . Lessons are provided by members of our staff including Dennis Nakamoto...born and raised in Hawaii and started playing the ukulele a loooooooooong time ago with his first lesson from Ohta-San himself! . . . . We are proud to be Guam's exclusive distributor for GString Ukuleles, Koaloha, Koalana, Ko'olau, Pono, and Kamaka (we're one of only two new Kamaka dealers worldwide for 2008!) We also carry other brands such as Kala, Leolani, Hula, and Mele. Our ukuleles range from $39 to over $3000+ retail. . . . . We met them last summer at their performance at the Sheraton Waikiki in Hawaii and taught them "Drop Baby Drop"...true story!!! Paul Luongo, their soloist, and many of the other members, play GString Ukuleles which can be found on Guam exclusively at our store. Ryan Imamura is quickly being recognized as the most promising - if not the best - ukulele player on Guam! His uncanny ability to read complicated music notation, his understanding of music theory, and last but not least his passion for the instrument are incredible for an artist this young. He just turned 13-years-old and will be a force to reckon with for many years to come! He is sponsored in part by both JB's Ukulele Hut as well as GString Ukulele Company and is taught by Mr. Mel Cruz.
