I am here for Networking

About Me

Good gods, I have a MySpace page. This is not normal behavior for me... I'm almost sure this whole thing has something to do with socialization, which I haven't been a big fan of for some time now. My brother, however, seems to think this is a great place to plug my web comic, BetaPwned
Please be aware that BetaPwned is rated WebMA for language and mild adult content. Yes, there may eventually be boobies. No, there won't be any blatant porn - the shading is too difficult in blatant porn.

My Interests

Web comics - I read more than 100 of the damn things when I can find the time. Reading in general, I would recommend it to all but those likely to be injured by the practice. I love video games, but rarely have the time to play them. Galactic Civilizations has eaten more time than I care to admit.

I'd like to meet:

Webcomic creators and lovers of all stripes and people who aren't afraid of their own intelligence or inherent geekiness.

Music:

I like a lot of different stuff, anything from Michael Franks to Panic! At The Disco. I'm certainly not going to try and list it all. In all truth, I'm not going to make any more effort than listing those two.

Movies:

I'm a movie snob. Not a lot out there that I actually like. American Beauty, Fight Club, The Big Chill, Donny Darko, Shawn of the Dead, Metropolis... that kind of stuff.

Television:

Don't watch much, really. I'm addicted to all that is VH1 Celebreality. I also adore Scrubs and MMA.

Books:

Chuck Palahniuk is my favorite author, and I'd be shocked if his books weren't required reading in college lit classes within the next decade or so. Steven King's endings make me cry due to double climaxes which should only reference sexual undertakings. Clive Barker is a spiffy godlike man. Hrm... there are others, but I can't think of them just now.

Heroes:

We don't need another hero. Be your own.

WTF?

Yeah... I've been a little flaky lately, and I feel it's only right I let those of you kind enough to stick with me in on what's going on. Sounds like the beginning of something horribly tragic d...

WednesdayWebcomic Weview of Achewood

I seriously thought about starting and ending this review by simply stating that Achewood is like Winnie the Pooh on anti-depressant laced crack.  Fin. Then I changed my mind. The comparison, od...

Wednesday Webcomic Weview - There's Always Porn

A simple truism identifies this week's webcomic - There's Always Porn. (NSFW) Yes, it's yet another adult oriented comic, so I recommend the kiddos run off and read Mr. Moo's Day Out.  It ha...

Wednesday Webcomic Weview of The Thinking Ape Blues

I'm going to start this off simply - The Thinking Ape Blues isn't for everyone.  It's an intellectual and opinionated sarcasm, a sometimes brutally honest view through the eyes of a pragmatic rea...
