Yuanist has always been on stage whether it was participating in theatre productions in his native Atlanta Ga, gospel performances at his local church or high school rock band performances. Underwater Sister, his first album with university band Squirly Whirly World was released in 1995. Yuanist arrived in Paris in 2000 where he met Greg Gauthier, Tony L and Mikael Darmon of Kif records and would write lyrics for Michelle Weeks(Movin On) and Sabrynah Pope(Someone for you). Later he would become the lead singer of The Mainstreet Orchestra with Tony L and Stan Arguis (drummer for Beat Assailant and Mainstreet) performing throughout France. Today, Yuanist has collaborated with some of the best known producers in house music (Greg Kozo and place blanche, master h and vega records, qalomota, duplex 100, Steven Stone, and FEET productions). In addition he is currently touring with the exciting young rapper, also from Atlanta, Beat Assailant while at the same time collaborating with the young and soulful songtress Rachel Claudio.
