The Man

Roger “Mista Raja” Green. The man who grew up on 169th Street in the Bronx to become a commanding force in the entertainment industry, Roger “Mista Raja” Green has proven to be a product of true belief and determination. His firm belief is that no matter where you come from, how bad things may seem, or whatever your critics may say about you, the only voice of reason is within yourself. From a very early age, this young man knew what it would take to be successful in life. Mista Raja knew from the beginning that his stake in life would be marked by or in close proximity to the music world. The sound of creativity and freedom hit him in the heart and now he is a man that knows well, the happiness and self gratification that comes from following your heart. Combining a keen sense of creativity and a deep hunger to create music that moves as well as inject positive energy, Mista Raja has set himself up to become a cornerstone in the music industry. Understanding what being successful took, Mista Raja partnered with Mark Monarch to create Associ Industries, a company that combines the talents of producers, with song ideas, hooks, and the needs of artists-known and unknown.

The Music

In only a span of seven years, his writing contributions read like a Who’s Who of music. Such songwriting credits include “Satisfy You”(Forever), “PE 2000”(Forever), and “Come to Me” (Press Play), all by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, gold records “Thank You”, by Barry White, “The Story” by Sole, and major contributions to both Lil’ Kim’s “Queen Bee 2” and “the Naked Truth” albums and the 2007 and 2008 releases of Atlantic Records Recording Artists BG and Maino. In 2007 Mista Raja was the recepient of a BMI Songwriting Award and he continues to press his brand into the folds of the industry by teaming up with major artist, as well as up and coming talents including: Heather Hayes, Reg Raw, Redda, Unstoppable and a host of other artists. With all of the contributions and accolades that come with doing good service to others, Mista Raja set out to make one of his own goals come true. The product of major studio hours and hit collaborations, the much anticipated album, “Ghost In The Machine”. Set to release in 2008, this album chronicles the journey and mindset of one individual that possess such a myriad of talents. The first single off the album, “Hating On Me”, is already favored by many DJ’s as a track with an endless shelf life. With the co-sign and professional respect from acclaimed artists of today and yesterday, Mista Raja, the man and his music will also have an endless run.
