COMMERCIALS:- To date Maria has appeared in many adverts and comments that'' they are like doing a mini pop video'' which is cool. Maria speaks 4 languages fluently and 3 others basic.

''I will be on there one day''said Maria watching Top of the Pops at 8 years old! She is also a trained dancer and got her first succesfull job at the tender age of nine!!!! She went to University to study Media and Visual Culture just to keep her parents happy but really was spending the student loans to travel back and forth to meet with the record companies and modelling agencies.In 2001, Fragma had just had success(No 1 in the UK ), and offered Maria,21 yrs old, the next track which was a huge compliment - and of course she jumped at the chance and left Uni! It was her release with Fragma that brought her vocal talents to the forefront. With “Everytime You Need Me” (which sold over 250,000 copies in the UK alone giving her live on tv(CDUK) a 'silver disc award'!) and 4 MILLION copies worldwide!

Maria Rubia was a massive star by 2001 bringing a huge fan base worldwide.The track and other Fragma songs have been on hundreds of different compilation albums and still are now and have been voted 'Biggest party anthem ever','Best dance track'etc and Maria is still seen on MTV ,the radio stations, 'Dance charts on TV' nowadays which she is still proud of. Use to concert appearances in front of audiences of over 100,000 people and crowded football stadiums, Top of the Pops, TV shows all over the world,top renowned magazines,like FHM,OK MAGAZINE,etc worldwide press giving her great reviews heavily featured in magazines and newspapers around the world, her life changed over night but her personality stayed the same.
Alone she got this job and then co-wrote other tracks that have got her into the UK and worldwide charts but Maria had a Management Company she hired after the Fragma hit which took a turn for the worst ...all was not how it seemed and Maria terminated the contracts and went alone into the big 'man's' world again!!!Every meeting she would attend was full of men which was quite intimidating and so Maria decided even though she was doing very well alone and had friendly high profiled contacts who helped her along the way;she needed a Manager to attend these 'serious' meetings and for two years she searched and was offered services by some huge UK Managers with massive success but Maria said ''there was a lot of attitude and some of the Managers acted like Divas or wanted to go out with me on a date which is not what I was looking for!'

But then after doing T4 on the Beach,last Summer,with Vernon Kay and June Sarprong(2006), the Producer told Maria about the succes of Myspace and Maria went on it(Jan 07) and found her very high profiled successful LA Manager on there and is everything Maria has been searching for in a Manager and more! ''I cannot wait to get back out there gigging, performing infront of the crowds again and meeting up with my friends who still are in the Music Industry ''I have kept in contact with many of my 'celeb' mates but I am not one to use them to be in the public eye or 'rinse' the fame thing or not wear knickers coming out of the car to get in papers!I only want to be 'out there' when I have something great to show for it,like a track or film which is a hit. Maria has many ideas which she would like to do if all goes well this time round;she has always wanted to build houses for the homeless so they have an address and can get a job after rehab etc and her idea of setting up the Madeleine McCann fund which is now a worldwide known fund gives her the incentive to do more Charity work for missing and stolen children later on down the line.
She has a management company named 'Breakthru Management'to aid talented people out there get into/back into the Music Industry

She co-wrote her second single “Say It”, which was remixed by DJ Rob Searle and reached the top 40 charts and top 5 in many countries around the world. Maria had another worldwide success with the Akyra version of “Here Comes The Rain Again Remix of the Euthrymics....again top five.'' Maria recorded the Big Brother television series theme tune in Denmark working with Double N, this track shot in at number 1 over there in 2003 and all over Europe was a success.
