I was born in bethnal green then at 4 years old moved to Hackney, left school at 16 and went into car repairs, worked in 3 garages then my father and I opened our own repair centre in Homerton east London, we had that for 34 years, in that time my dad retired, my son left school and worked with me for 10 years and 7 years ago the land was sold without our knowing and we were without a job.my son got a job as a Bingo caller and is still doing it, I went to a friends Marina in east London and started work as a boat repairer and general marina management. I met my wife at 16 and were engaged at 17 and married when she was 19 and i 20, we had 3 children, lisa who is on my friends list and is on myspace, give her a call, a younger daughter Maria who is engaged and a son who lives with his Polish girlfriend in Romford. my hobbies have been fishing,model boats and planes and cars. also i have taken my amateur radio exams and have been a radio ham since 1988 with a class A licence. I have also taken my Royal yachting association offshore cruising exmination and also have a ICC certificate which enables me to take my craft abroad to comply with their bylaws and to gain knowledge on cruising the sea around the Thames estuary where we frequent we have been into caravanning and boating, the last boat we have had for 25 years and still enjoy it. we have owned our house in Dagenham now for 12 years, we have 2 grandchildren by Lisa but unfortunately our son in law died about 4 years ago and has left Lisa bringing the children up on her own but with all our love which helps.
Our boating life started with a 2 mtr dinghy onto a speedboat (WRONG MOVE THAT) then a 23ft cruiser and then our 32ft one we have now. and have cruised to France Belgium and round to the Isle of wight. there is a photo of it in my photos
