Why do this thing?
I guess my interest in music production began when I was quite young. When I was about 11 the whole "breakin'" scene broke. One movie in particular made me want to become a DJ and maybe even make some music .. Beatstreet. Man, people look at this movie now and say it was cheesy - I still watch it and see a classic.
From there I went into DJing, did some mobile, pubbing and private partying before getting into the club scene. After a time I felt myself drawing back in time, Soul Inspirations was born, and soul, funk, ska and a litte bit of rock and reggae became the weapons of choice... some of those classics - California Soul by Marlena Shaw, Expansions by Lonnie Liston Smith, apache from the Incredible Bongo band.
Now, I do what I do because I genuinely love music, genuinely want to contribute to it, be exposed to more of it, and understand it better...
