Amber Alert was originally formed in August of 2002 by it’s two primary members, though things didn’t really start coming together for the band until about three years ago. Frontman Adam King met Greg Winston, who joined up as a second guitarist in late 2003. He was playing bass in another band at the time and Adam saw them play, liked his sound, and asked him to play as our bassist. As the writing process progressed, we were in need of a drummer, and came across Cody Johnson. We all instantly clicked and began to grow even more as a band. When we were in studio recording our first EP, Cody introduced to the band to Drew Marcusen, and he bonded with everyone so well, he soon became our second guitarist. To this day we strive to create music to change peoples lives as best we can. We also fully support the Amber Alert system, and admire all those affiliated with it. The fact that children are being abducted has brought on some of the biggest and most incomprehensible horrors in this life. We take our passion for writing music with great responsibility and love. For as long as we exist, we will write rock and roll the way it’s supposed to be played; In its purest and rawest form.
