Rocking harder than Scott Stapps enunciation

Optimistic to a Fault consists of 4 musicians that have been playing in bands together for years that date back to to early high school, 4 people that each listen to different styles of music, 4 people that simply enjoy playing and have a passion for music... but most importantly, 4 good friends.
The best description of the music can only be catagorized as "Rock". The music sets out to be as true as possible. No pre-conceived sound or style aimed for, just styles and idea's thrown together in a democratic way to appease the taste of the makers. Whatever the outcome of a song is.... that's what happens, no matter even if it happens to cross genre boundries.
The band was formed in July 2004 in Muskogee, Oklahoma by Logan Smith and Chris Cramberg, with Michael Barnard quickly falling in line. OTF moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in April 2005 to live somewhere with a wider variety of music and available venues. A year later another friend, Tucker Carter, was brought in for vocals to make OTF what it is today.
"They are a no holds barred, straight forward, make you want to aggressively ride a skateboard rockers. Connoisseurs of heavier bands like Rage Against the Machine and Tool will not only like their loud, in your ear mentality, but you'll love it. I say if you wear socks, they'll be rocked off." - Joe Mack , The Current
