I love it all, from Vivaldi to Van Halen, Billie Holiday to Jill Scott, Led Zeppelin to Prince... I grew up listening to all types of music from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Anita O'Day, Hank Williams to Led Zeppelin, The Beatles to The Commodores... Makes for a unique collection of CD's. Some of my favorites include Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Humble Pie, Black Oak Arkansas, Neil Young, Cheap Trick, ACDC, Buckcherry, Mother Love Bone, The Runaways, which in turn split many fans when they broke up or rather dwindle away and Lita went one direction and Joan the other... I was a Joan Jett fan. Also, Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar, Blondie, The Go-Go's, Concrete Blonde, Tracy Bonham, Alanis Morrissette, Sheryl Crow, pretty much all the angry chics... As well as The Donnas, Madonna, Dance Hall Crashers, Angie Stone, Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, Billie Holiday, Anita O'Day... The Black Crowes, STP, Motley Crue, Rage Against The Machine, Sublime, The Fugees, Freestyle Fellowship, Snoop, Tupac, Prince, Notorious B.I.G., and so many more I could end up listing all day long.
I am a big supporter of several Long Beach and Huntington Beach local, yet to be, should have been, or recently signed bands such as Forcefield ON, RAVENNA, the now retired Twelvehourmary (My Favorite of the Local Bands), Wonderlove, THRILL DELUXE, Christopher Scott, and (not from LBC or HB) Von Iva... So many more out there yet to be discovered, and I can't wait...
