In November 2002, during various visits at the recordings for Monkey Rhythm’s album “Being Carried Running” in the Estudi d’Enregistrament del Centre Garcilaso, the final components of KleanShot were finally found, a project that actually just existed in my head and hard disc and was yet to be born. A rather careful contact to musician friends here and in Germany resulted in an unexpected positive response and an euphoric support which provided us with a lot of “magic moments” during the rehearsals and recordings for “Little Tremors”, a feeling that could hopefully be transmitted through this CD. While recording, the core of a functional Live band crystallised with Daniel Navarrero on drums and Santiago Arteaga on bass and on the 15th August 2003 the first live performance arrived to the L’Atmella del Mar “Posediania” Festival with the support of Sergio Morales on keyboards. The participation of an acoustic formation with Rebecca, Rachel, Josephine and Brandon, then called “Coriolis” at the 6th Contest of Acoustic Music at Centro Garcilaso in November 2003 didn’t take us to the unplugged hall of fame but enriched us with a nice experience (means we had a lot of fun). When finally the last master mix was passed on to be printed, KleanShot in its acoustic version was presented last 30st of January in “La birrería” with most of its original recording artists participating. The CD will now be presented the 13th of February at the Centre Garcilaso. The future of KleanShot…you can buy a new hard disc when the old one is full…can’t buy a new head though…
