As most of you may already know, the band has been on hiatus for quite some time. We've been revamping the cover material and writing new original tunes. We've gone through the departure of two of our family members, and have now added to new guys to the family and now we're ready to let you folks check us out. We all wanted this band to be just as good or better than before, namely because, you the fans, deserve that from us! With the new additions to the band, we've accomplished just that and we hope you all will enjoy what has become of "Counterbalance". You'll still hear some of the old favorites, but there's plenty of new stuff to boot. We still guarantee to bring down the house even more so now! With refreshing new energy to the band, Mark Oleson-vocals and Mark Benson (just call me Kevin)-guitar, keys, vocals. We're now aiming to be one helluva powerhouse! You'll still be able to find out the length of Carlton's drumstick, the exact height of Alan's hair, and the size of Jays newfound scar, but you'll also be able to find out if Mark O. really picked on Carlton when they were in school together and if Mark B. likes to get drunk and chase insects. Either way, whatever your preference, we're still here to rock the best way we know how, so continue to bring that appetite for loud music and your dancin' shoes and your thirst for the strong stuff, cause your still in for one helluva party, (and we will continue to take prisoners...maybe you'll be the next)!
