About Me

Hi, I'm Liberace. I started playing the piano when I was four years old after I watched my older sister Angie practice every afternoon. I recieved a scholarship for the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music at the age of seven. In 1952, I became the summer replacement for the Dinah Shore show after producer Don Fedderson saw me in concert. I was so successful on the show that I recieved my own show, the Liberace Show, that same year. I was able to keep a following for over forty years by constantly reinventing myself, wearing those crazy costumes, and incorporating both classical and popular music into my stage act. Please visit my museum, which I opened myself in 1979, The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas, NV, USA. I decided to get a myspace to connect with my fans!
