Two Fools. One Adventure. No Idea.

About Me

The fools involved in this project are Heath Buck and Doug Campbell . You can check our full site at tuxedotravels.com .
These videos document the ridiculousness:
We are two fools who are journeying overland from Hong Kong to London wearing only tuxedos. We have no rules, no parameters, and no expectations except for one thing, we will wear those tuxedos for the entire 4 and a half months. We believe that the trip has a point, but we're not really sure what it is yet. It's a bit like life really, you know there's something you should be doing, but sometimes you have to start doing it before you really understand why (cue: discussion on existentialism...).

Besides being on a mission to find the mission, there are some things we can tell you for sure:

• It’s not a commercial trip, we’re funding this out of our own increasingly broke pockets.• We are raising money for our own charity: The Silly Fund !
• It should be pretty insane.

We have more answers to FAQs here ! We are making this the worlds first interactive trip. It’s going to be more enjoyable with people giving us ideas of what to do, help us decide what absurd and highly amusing missions we should be following. Sign up to TuxMail and we'll keep you posted.

The last thing of note: Heath, the Englishman full of useless advice, and Doug, the overly fresh American are the delegates of this foolish mission, and they have only met once before, in Hong Kong for about 10 days, 2 years ago. There are some people out there that are hoping to watch this Brit and that Yank tear each other apart as they find the difficulties of travelling with a random stranger.

The trip starts on the 1st April (of course) 2007 from Hong Kong!

My Interests

Travel; adventure; photography; writing; and waking up not remembering why on earth we're wearing tuxedos…

I'd like to meet:

Anyone between Hong Kong and London who might be able to enhance our trip, give us accomodation, or humiliate us in some way shape or form that makes the trip somewhat more memorable. Specifically:• People who can show us around their hometown• People who can give us accomodation enroute - China, Vietnam, Nepal, India, Kyrgystan, Kazakstan, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, Czech, Germany, Switzerland, France, England• Local photography groups who want to shoot us• Any photo editors who would like to edit our photos for display on our website• Amateur video editors. We can set you up with an online hardisk and transfer our videos for you to edit, which we will then put on our siteIf you can help with the project, please message us or e-mail us on our site . All help is appreciated and will be fully credited.

Movies:

Making our own travel movies. Want to help with the editing? Could be great exposure, message us...

Tax Briberies and the Paradox of Kathmandu Nightlife.

The more you travel in developing, the more you realise that corruption far from being urban myth, it is actually intrinsic to everyday life. My Nepalese friends last night told me that corruption run...

Someone else's girlfriend, The Kama Sutra Temple, and the Living Diety!

So last night a girl comes up to me, explains she's leaving, and asks for a pen to write down her phone number. This is a request I'm not prone to declining, so I let her scribble on my hand. No soone...
