About Me

Heyah!
So you've finally reached my page, ey? Congrats! You see, I'm a very special human being. If you want proof - call my mother and she'll tell ya straight up.
I torture a six string in THE LAW + that and a few other things in KARENSDAG. At the moment I'm putting down the guitarwork for a band called REVEREND HELLBASTARD which is turning out pretty cool. I enjoy music in a degree that most people may not understand. I have to listen, create and write about music regularly to keep my sanity going. If someone manages to stop me from doing it, I would probably become a serial killer within weeks. I'm a huge metal nerd. I get a great outlet for my 'metal nerdery' by reviewing records and interviewing bands at a webzine called Metalcentral. It's in swedish, so if you don't know this magnificent language - practice!
I'm also a student but I hate other students so that's quite a catch. It's not that I hate other individuals though. I just hate the freternity bullshit and the 'hey, I'm a long way from my parents so I can be a fucking douche without them knowing even though I'm way past 20'-attitude. I mean, come on! Grow the fuck up and take responsibility for your own life, dipshit! I kinda hate everyone who's talking shit over forums as well. Why? Go check Blabbermouth.com and you'll get a hint.
Don't hesitate to give me a comment here or add me to your list, that is - if you're going to talk to me. I don't need a huge 'friends'-collection to brag about. You know what? Don't add me or talk to me. It's for the best.
Best regards Björn

My Interests

Music, politics and shit like that.

I'd like to meet:

I'm not really interested in meeting people just for the hell of it. I would like to collaborate with musicians that I respect though. You can find a few of these blokes down at the "heroes" section. I should also add that I don't consider myself half as talented as these unbelievable chaps. I'm not sure that myspace is the right forum to make this happen though. haha. But it sure is nice talking to people with who shares the same interests as myself. Are you one of those?

Music:

Metal, avant-garde, punk, hardcore, grindcore, hiphop, rock 'n' roll and country. And oh! blues is allright and to some extent jazz. Techno and indiepop does nothing for me.

Movies:

Mostly drama and comedy. I want to be touched by great scripts and tasteful directors, but every now and then I need a good laughter. Shit man, who doesn't in this day and age? Some of these flicks are pure classics like "Victim of changes" by director Magnus Kumlin.

Television:

Desperate housewives (yeah I know, but you're ugly and smell like shrimps), documentaries, Kobra, The Office, Extra, Musikbyrån (just to see what kind of shit the media nazis leads us to believe is 'hip' this season) etc etc

Books:

Since I'm a student I don't have any extra time to read books that I prefer. But I like the auto-biography genre no matter the content. It's always cool to see people's lives out of different perspectives.

Heroes:

Gene Hoglan, Dave Lombardo, John Zorn, Scott Ian, John Tardy, PP7 Gaftzeb, Mike Patton, Devin Townsend, Chris Reifert, Jello Biafra, Henry Rollins, Gary Holt, Bill Hicks, Danny Lilker, Chuck Billy etc etc

Hectic

Hola Things are hectic in the life of Björn. The university continues to hand out assignments that I don't feel like doing, but I do. I keep my head above the surface, barely. I look forward to the da...

SATYRICON in Karlstad

Hola vermin! Last night I went to see Satyricon in Karlstad. Í didn't expect much of it since the live tracks I'd heard on radio from fairly recent shows didn't blow my mind. But man did my mind ...

Sunday and tired

Yes. Today is the dreaded Sunday. In my book it's the worst day of the week. We just prolong the inevitable - the fact that we must get up and be useful again tomorrow. I've agreed to substitute ...

Death breathed and Bloodbathed

This week has been a death metal one. I can't stop listening to Death Breaths debut and both Bloodbath records. Man, it takes metal veterans to catch the true element behind this genre that reall...
