About Me

I'm a furniture designer for the home furnishing industry. But that is my job, outside of work I like getting to the mountains to fly fish. I like to cook and happen to think that I'm pretty good at it. I have a black lab named Jackson. I guess that is my basics.

My Interests

Furniture, Flyfishing, Hunting, Painting, Sculpture, Custom lighting, playing with my dog, Photography. I love to get into my kitchen and cook up a good meal. I gave up on television, so I spend more time reading.

I'd like to meet:

The right kind of women. Like minded people. People who can inspire me.

Music:

Umphrey's Mcgee- I listen to them everyday Tool,Om Trio,Jazz, Blues, Jambands, acid jazz,Mother Vinegar. I have a lot of the bands that I enjoy on my friends list. Check out some of the music that is out there.

Movies:

As cheesy as it seems, A River runs through it. The book is better. Super Troopers, Office Space, All the Kevin Smith movies. Best movie I saw last year was Crash. It is one of the most intense story lines I have seen.Poolhall Junkies is a good flick that a couple of my friends gave me to watch. I think I watched it 3 times.Lucky # Slevin. This years movie of the year for me. Great group of actor's and actress's and there are more twists to the plot then would happen at a chubby checker dance off. .. width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

I gave it up. I was tired of never having anything to watch that was worthwhile. Reality TV isn't real. But it is the plague of tv programming. When the cable company allows me to pick the 20 channels that I want in my basic package is when I will get TV again.

Books:

Too many to name

Heroes:

Just one. My Dad is my hero. He is the one that I hope to be like. He raised his family well and loves his wife. He taught me that you have to work hard and that you can have fun doing it if it is something that you love. My dad taught me how to be a woodworker. That it is ok for a man to show emotion. He taught me that everyone deserves respect. What more could I want in a Hero.

flyfishing

It is a really fun hobby. Something about standing in the river and concentrating on the fly allows you to forget about all the bullshit that you deal with on a daily basis. It is just you, the river,...

mountain time

It doesn't matter how much time I seem to get in the mountains, but it always leaves me feeling relaxed.  It doesn't matter if it is days spent there or just a few hours, because the time seems ...
