About Me

I'm a mum of three (and pregnant with no4), and did work in PR & Marketing but took voluntary redundancy after my last lot of maternity leave. Once i've had no4 I may think about freelance work - so any offers??? Along with my darling Husband, we design the fantastic flyers and advertising for Friday Street (Scotland's Premier Mod Club)and I keep their myspace page up to date - www.myspace.com/fridaystreet.
I do a little dj-ing from time to time mainly late 50's/early 60's r&b with a touch of soul. I've been guest dj at Basics Edinburgh, Friday Street Glasgow, The 2005,2006 & 2007 Glasgow Mod Weekender, Next Door to the Blues Glasgow and Mojo Working a one off R&B night in Perth I organised with The Five Aces(then The Boogaloo Investigators).
These are kinda cool tunes- Here am i - Lois Blaine; I've got a claim on you - Betty Everett; You can if you think you can - Martha Carter; I'm gonna put a watch on you - Ruby Lee; I cant please you - Jimmy Robbins; Don't mess with my man - Irma Thomas; Baby i'm coming home - Mack Rice; Think you'd better leave - Evaline; Reputation - The Four Shells; A fool in love - Ike & Tina Turner; Daddy Rollin Stone - Jimmy Ricks & the Raves; Don't tell it all - Pearl Woods; There's nothing like love - Jackie Wilson & Linda Hopkins
I like food, well, to be honest I like adding chilli and lots of black pepper to food, chilli tuna pasta is nice, so is chilli macaroni cheese, chicken, etc etc. I am a crap vegetarian, was one for over 15 years, then the dreaded bacon roll craving started. I like to think I eat healthily, although the size of my midriff may suggest otherwise!
I like going on holiday, this year was Tuscany, next year, might be the same place, or maybe further down the Italian coast. Next year I will learn more Italian so I can actually have a conversation with people rather than say random words in the hope i'm understood.
..
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
