I have started a New Pagan Group in my area...
Click to join allekiskipagans This is a group for Pagans in the areas in and around New Kensington, Lower Burrell, Natrona Heights, Arnold, Tarentum, and Surrounding areas. This group was started as a way for local Pagans to network and meet. Pagans from all paths are welcome to join this group. In addition to networking and learning from each other on this message board, be on the lookout for this group to go "live" and meet in person with a weekly Pagan Coffee Night starting up soon.So come on in and join....lets get a great local Pagan community started!Only those 18 and older may join the group, but if you are Pagan parents of children under 18, you are more than welcome to bring them to events unless an event is otherwise listed as Adults Only.Blessed Be!
glitter-graphics.comI am a 31 year old Married Pagan mom of three boys Ages 12,4 and 3. I recently had a beautiful baby girl on 4-5-08. I no longer have any pets, as I had to give mt cats away before I moved. When the baby is a little older, and I can devote more time to pet care, I would like to get a Boxer pup, and of course more cats. I will probably get cats before I get the puppy. We made the move from FL to PA in Nov 2007. I was active in the Pagan Community there. I practiced with a Coven, as well as met weekly for "Pagan Coffee Night" with a Florida group called Pasco Pagans. Those weekly meetings were tons of fun, and a great way to get to know others in the local Pagan Community. This group also held open events for The Sabbats. I was on the planning comittee for Pasco county's first and second Pagan Pride Days, which were a blast! I am attempting to start up a local networking group where I live now.Take a look at Pasco Count Florida's 2006 Pagan Pride drum circle..... width="425" height="350".. ...... width="425" height="350".. ....
You scored as Shamanic Pagan, A shamanic pagan's roots are generally found in Native American faith. A true love and respect for the earth and all that it yields is central to their faith. Wisdom is most often found in spirit guides or totems, who can be animals, ancestors, or spirits. Pagans who follow this path tend to be far more aware of the delicate web that interweaves the lives of every person and thus move within that web accordingly. They're usually deeply insightful, friendly, loving people and excellent friends and parents. Mysterious and strong, as well, they are often the protectors of their friends and family as well as the moral compass for their friends and loved ones.

You scored as Winter, WinterWinterClouded with snow The cold winds blow, And shrill on leafless bough The robin with its burning breast Alone sings now.The rayless sun, Day's journey done, Sheds its last ebbing light On fields in leagues of beauty spread Unearthly white.Thick draws the dark, And spark by spark, The frost-fires kindle, and soon Over that sea of frozen foam Floats the white moon.Walter De La Mare

My Interests

Welcome Spring! Here comes the sun
.. .... ....

a href=http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmJlbGxhZG9ubmF zZGFya2dyYXBoaWNzLmNvbS8=My Interests Include.....Furthering my studies in Wicca, Magick, Paganism and Witchcraft,- I have been studying Wicca and Paganism since 2002. In May 2003, I dedicated myself to the Wiccan Path. I love to learn about the religion I practice, and all the different Pagan paths and practices. I have learned so much, and love the path I have taken. I will never consider myself done learning, my studies will go on for the rest of my life. In June of this year (2006) I have begun studying Druidry as well. I am now a member of Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship (or ADF), and am going through the dedicant program.

Not suprisingly, with me being Pagan, Nature is another one of my interests. Here are some beautiful images of the nature that I love in our world, and the worlds beyond ours set to the beautiful tune of "Across The Universe" by The Beatles (Which is my favorite Beatles song) ".. .. ....

Studying Different Religions and cultures, past and present- I think it's important, no matter what faith a person is, to have an understanding of other faiths, and other world cultures, in history, and present day. Many people fear, or "don't like" what they don't know. When you take away the mystery of something, it becomes understood and more accepted.

Candle Making- I started making Hand rolled Beeswax candles from 100% beeswax honecomb sheets back in September of 2005. I created a website to put my candles up for sale, but never got that off the ground. I will try it again soon though.I have the Website, but it's under construction, and the "store" is not live yet...It's called The Spiral bee. Here is the url: http://www.spiralbee.com/page/page/3752436.htm It really is fun making them. I haven't made any for a while, but will be making new batches to sell at my local Pagan Pride Day, and then on my website.

Working on web sites- I had my candle site, and also an .. Book of Shadows, but lost the server we had at home, so I put those on the shelf for a while. I'll be doing my candle site again soon. Not only do I want to sell my candles .., but I really enjoy working on websites. p

The SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism)- This is a medeival re-enactment group. I was very active in the group for about a year and a half, until I got pregnant in May 2003. I have not been to an event since, but am dying to go when money, and time will allow.

Karaoke- Only get to go about once a month, but when I do it's so much fun!!

Being active in the Pagan community- After the birth of my second baby in Jan, 2005, I began to get active in the pagan comminuty. I became an active member of our local group called Pasco Pagans http://www.pascopagans.org/ I had been a member of Pasco Pagans since 2003, but was not very active in the group. I was only going to a ritual here and there, and participating only on the message boards for the most part.I am glad I became an active member of the group last year, because I have forged so many great friendships. In 2005, I also joined the commitee to plan the FIRST Pagan Pride day in Pasco County, Florida. Pasco Pagan Pride day was held on 9/25/05, and turned out great! Now we are nearing our 2nd annual Pasco pagan Pride day to be held at Sims Park on Sept. 23rd, 2006.....and I am so exited!!

Special Effects Make-Up- I'm barely amature, but I love watching the behind the scenes about movie special effects make-up, and am always looking up, and reading about it ... The extent of my special effects is doing everyone's make-up on Halloween,BUT.......two people I did make-up for halloween 2005 won the costume contest at the party we were at. My husband took 1st place, as a Dapper 18th century Ghost, and my friend Joey took 3rd place as a knight with a bloodied up face. The focus of his face was a large gaping cheek wound, showing teeth through it.

Gaming with My Husband - When the kids go to bed, and all the housework is done (or kinda done LOL), I like to grab a drink and some popcorn, sit down in front of the PC, and Play .. RPG's with my husband. Even though he's 36, and I'm 28, WE LOVE to immerse ourselves in a fantasy world for a little while. Questing, killing monsters, and travelling a fantasy world together is great bonding time for he and I. We talk, we laugh, and we even have stupid little arguments about looting sometimes LOL. (When we used to play Diablo II together he would ALWAYS hoard ALL the Gems LOL.Now, we play World of Warcraft together, and it's loads of fun. We played alot from when the Beta came out last year up until my second baby was born in Jan. Then for a while, I didn't get the chance to play as much, but this summer, when he started sleeping through the night, I was able to get back into playing again.update: I need to get busy making candles when the kiddos are in bed, so I am going to quit WoW for a while, and cancel my account until the expansion comes out.

I also enjoy reading, drawing, taking pictures, and dabbling in paint Shop Pro. I recently designed some clothing and gift items as a fund raiser for Pagan Pride day. The things are on Cafe Press, so if you get a chance, check out my designs...and buy something for a good cause. :-) Here is the URL- http://www.cafepress.com/pascopagans

Wow...My music tastes vary so much. I can listen to anything from Cake to NIN to the Les Miserables soundtrack....to Alice Deejay...all the way to Classical Music and Enya. I am also fond of listening to nothing but tribal drumming at times.. I am such a music lover. Music is amazing. A single song can make us feel a myraid of emotions. Music can spark instant memories, weather they are good or bad ones. Music can take us on amazing journeys around the globe.

I also enjoy listening to alot of Pagan Artists. Witchvox has a feature called Bardic Circle that pretty much Weekly showcases a different Pagan Musician. On the Bardic Circle Page you can read about Pagan Musicians, check out thier lyrics, listen to and download songs as far back as the year 2000! If you are interested in Pagan Music, I highly recomend you check out this site.

Books:

.... ..New Page 1.. ....

I have read sooo many books that I love. It would be too many to list here.

Some Recent Faves are: "The Circle Within" by Dianne Sylvan. I absolutly LOVE it. It is one of the few books out there that take you beyond the basics of Wicca, and go in depth on the spirituality of it.

Family Wicca & Raising Witches by Ashleen O'gaea - Two very good books on practicing Paganism with your family and children. If you are not Wiccan in your tradition, then these books can very well be adapted to fit your particular tradition. The Heart of Wicca: Wise words from a crone on the path by the late Ellen cannon Reed. - Also another very good book that I highly recomend. It's just like listening to someone sit with you and talk about thier expierences on thier path, with thier Coven. She talks about her way of doing things, and always says her way is NOT the only right way, but is how she prefers it. I didn't agree with all her points in the book, but I learned alot, and took some very wise wisdom from it.
