When the planets first formed there was a necessary evil. An evil that was only placed here to counter balance the universe. If the evil and darkness were formed into a hip-hop duo…. it would be Gutterball. Shanks and Ems paint pictures of future wars with raw lyrics and some of the most creative visions to ever be heard. Imagine a world where everything is cold, metallic, and downright unbalanced with anger and violence. Now imagine two crusaders on a path to speak the stories of their elders and ancestors. Their voices ring out like a hail of gunfire through forgotten ghetto’s and former children playgrounds now rattled with fallout. Gutterball is the spoken truth of the unknown, the voice of the muted and tortured, and a vision of our future that some just may not be able to stomach. The fear one experiences walking from your car late at night to your home, that little voice in your head telling you someone is chasing you, that slight breeze that wisps your neck, that you swear is gods anger coming to get you. That is Gutterball. The vehicles that have been chosen to speak these necessary evils are formed into several facets. One is an Ep Called Protoculture, where the machine world was vividly scripted building-by-building. Protoculture was born from the lack of warmth felt in today’s society. A society where Christ himself could be holding a will work for food sign, and be shunned by onlookers. A society where looks are as powerful as a middle age stoning, and are handed out faster than prayers. Gutterball is assisted in the war with another vehicle, Siege Engine. Siege Engine is the street sweeper team who comes in after the riots have submerged, to eliminate the wounded and document the direction of blood flow through the gutters. You see, what normal man cannot see with his own eyes is that these things Gutterball speaks upon, are happening in your world. Can you see them? How close have you actually looked? Late at night drive to any downtown area and look for a man sleeping in an alleyway, and ask him if the machine world is cold. You may get a disturbing answer, and answer you need to be prepared for. Finally there is a hope in these apocalyptic times. Neo Tokyo, a darker vision for the future, but one with the rebirth of man embedded in it. After all is said and done, the few who have survived will crawl out of the ashes and dust and will see the vision. The vision of Neo Tokyo will be delivered to you very soon.
