I like to meet all people in general, and usually talk to anyone I come in contact with. I try to dazzle them with my shtick. I especially enjoy the creative, funny, and super-intelligent.I don’t want to meet people that are rude, ignorant, arrogant, humorless, uncaring, unfeeling, and unsympathetic.Make me laugh and I'll be your friend forever. Treat me kindly and I'll love you forever.
Any music at all that shows creativity or shows some kind of musicianship. This leaves out a lot of stuff. Fortunately, there's a lot of good stuff to listen to. I just wish I had more time.
I have the gift of watching a movie, forgetting it, and then I get to watch it again like it was the first time. Kind of.
I have a love-hate relationship with television. I would like to write for television, but I probably would never watch the show.
How-to books, manuals, textbooks, Lithuanian folklore and mythology, Chicago history, mysteries, novels, comic books, cereal boxes, ingredient lists on the back of anything, and anything else that has something printed on it, including place mats, cocktail napkins, and if I'm lucky enough, printed toilet paper.
My dishwasher. My washer and dryer. My refrigerator. My kids. My parents. My friends. Some of my relatives. My ancestors. My professors, and anyone else that's ever taught me something, including small children. My pets, present and former. All of my friends that I have worked with over the years to change the world for the better in different ways. Thank you for your selflessness. Last but not least, the g-boys. They have taught me patience, spontaneity, wonderment, how to be silly, and unconditional love. Actually, I knew all of this before, but they have brought me to the master class. I love you guys like there’s no tomorrow.
