CO-ALLIANCE consists of; Mr Viper, MC 5ive-0, Lady MC ,Live'o, HOW IT ALL BEGAN. The idea of CO-ALLIANCE originally started as Coalition and later formed Coalition Alliance hence CO-ALLIANCE. Mr Viper who has been involved with Urban Music Culture for most of his life, initially as a raver then later as an MC to a DJ and Producer. From the 90s, he played at various events and parties including warehouse parties, illegal raves and any other event that was going down. As well as spinning Vinyl having fun along the way, he made many friends in the industry who eventually pulled together to become the group that are now called COALLIANCE. The concept came about when Viper voicing an opinion that there are many things within the Urban Music Culture that can be improved and it became clear that the others felt the same way. Viper, Five-0, LMC, sat down and began to discuss the idea of starting an organisation to push forward the Urban Music Culture and to offer people new styles of music, new cutting edge services and opportunities. CO-ALLIANCE was born, nine months old as a collective bringing together their three flavours to the table and re-creating the BPM sound, thats Big Peoples Music. This is associated with drum n bass sound, Liquid Funk. A true performance when working, interaction with the ravers is second to none, tearing dubplates with the BPM flavour, LMC comes with her dynamic real lyrics and soulful melodies the Godfather 5ive-oh, legend at work say no more, and without a doubt are an unstoppable team they have worked at various events including weeklys at Nightmoves, most recently supporting AfterShock Crew in Gloucester, El Paso & appearances on local radio and internet stations such as, drumnbassworldwide.com and will be performing in Germany over the forthcoming months. CO-ALLIANCE, working on numerous promotions, B.P.M and weekly events in the East London area, providing a platform for new or unheard of artists to show their presence & skills. COALLIANCE is associated with working good people producing good music. With numerous established artists associated to the COALLIANCE, many of whom have already recorded material to be released on ALLIANCE RECORDINGS, due towards the end of 2006, many who are Hungry to come into the studio's. Since the beginning many more people have joined Coalition. Some of the main names whove stepped forward to support COALLIANCE are Devious D, Andy 1, Guvnor N Lase, Tendai, Dezert Rat, Fresh MC, DJ Sparxx, DJ Yabba and there are many others. So now CO-ALLIANCE has really come into its own is growing and becoming stronger daily. The most important thing about COALLIANCE is how we differ from everyone else. CO-ALLIANCE stands for everything that promotes and develops the positive aspects of our culture. We want CO-ALLIANCE to be an unbiased organisation, which provide opportunities and leads the way in the Urban Music World. Aiming to give the best service, music and parties to our customers and get the best for our artists. Uniting artists, producers and promoters to work together and provide a comprehensive range of services under one umbrella. To re-create the vibe and unity within the urban music world that has almost been lost due to negative media and links to crime and drugs by the press. It is time for a change in music style, particularly on the DnB scene, aiming to produce and play new styles of Jungle DnB, focusing more on liquid and vocal soulful sounds, to make a change from the hardstep DnB that has been around for so long. CO-ALLIANCE has already been working on hot new styles of hip hop and are always on the lookout for fresh talent. The CO-ALLIANCE umbrella runs a regular DnB party at The Spread eagle in Shoreditch also. It runs every other Sunday and the vibe is relaxed but upbeat with an eclectic assortment of DnB styles including some lighter, liquid BPM sounds to enhance that Sunday feel. We are bringing the focus back onto the vibe and quality of music instead of just promoting events through big names and hype. Urban Music came from the street and it now its time to give back to the street. We want to change attitudes by proving that Urban Music is a positive influence. Through Coalliance we want to prove that by working together (in a professional and caring manner) the sky is the limit. Through our music we want to lift spirits, unite people and give them something worthwhile to live for. It is time to push our culture forward. Be part of the movement.
