DJ PAUL FOLEY MIXES....SUCKAAAA!
I made this music player at MyFlashFetish .com.
DJ BIO:
Even though Paul Foley has only been DJing for a little more than 4 years, he is by no means a new jack to the music scene. Before he was even a teenager (in the mid 80's) he began experimenting with music and song construction, and by the mid 90's he had formed a rap group, falsehood
, which became a part of the underground Boston hip-hop scene; a scene that has spawned the likes of Mr. Lif, Acrobatik, and 7L and Esoteric. At the turn of the millenium, Paul began to produce his own musical projects, and by 2007, had churned out 6 DIY albums (including a greatest shits compilation) filled to the brim with genre-crushing madness. He attained his first DJ gig in in 2003 when he was asked by his friends, Dali and Ross, to participate in their weekly Thursday night at Rivergods (For Real too Reel). His first time on the wheels, he could not mix a single record and was doing cut-overs all night. 4 years later, Paul has developed himself into a mixing machine and has rocked more one-off gigs than he cares to count (everthing from parties in vegas to stints in the adidas store, to weddings). He has also secured residencies at venues around the city such as the Milky Way, The Middle East, The Office, The Redline, Zu Zu, Church and The Goodlife. Paul currently heads up his own electro synth-pop group WarmBodies
, but when he is not on stage actin' a fool or tearing up the dance floor something terrible, he is behind the decks, feeding party-goers with proper portions of dance classics. Even though his musical taste is diverse (from Slayer to Sade), when it comes to the wheels of steel, it must be dance music; preferably old dance music, and even more preferably, old dance music that found radio play at one time or another. As a DJ, Paul Foley subscribes to the following 2 golden guidelines:
1.) If it's later than 1992, it may be too new.
2.) All vinyl all the time!
