Initials BR

About Me

The debut LP from Initials BR (formerly Boo Radley), Boo Radley Bruises Badly is a half-rapped, half-sung concept album consisting of 12 songs loosely narrating events and life transitions that occurred over the course of 2003. At 70+ minutes, it's a schizophrenic behemoth that genre-hops at will and manages to remain consistently engaging. At present, a follow-up is in the works. Entitled Initials B.R. it will preserve the Boo Radley persona, though mostly restricting itself to a focused exploration of rap music, straddling the line between indie monoliths Def Jux and Anticon.
