I love Alaska. It's been my adopted home since I was a teen. I enjoy photography, the outdoors, movies, and listening to podcasts.

My Interests

Winter: XC skiing (past few years, I haven't gotten out as much as I would like).Summer: Bicycling, Hiking, Camping.Anytime of year: Macintosh, iPod, Pretty much any techie toys, Digital photography, Reading, Movies, Geocaching, Podcast listening (am quickly becoming addicted, i think).Used to do:... Hunting (deer, duck, phesant). Scuba (incl wreck diving), motorcycling, Downhill skiing.

Just about anything. Movies:

This would be easier if I were staring at my DVD collection, so I'll just skim over a few: Serenity and Firefly, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, About a Boy, Serendipity, Batman Begins, Mr and Mrs Smith, Star Wars (pick any), Trek (ditto), Austin Powers...Lets just say: Scifi, romantic comedy, hollywood action flicks, stupid comedy (think jacky chan, ace ventura, dumb n dummer, better off dead), foreign films. sean of the dead.Don't usually like: heavy dramas, anything with romans/gladiators, war flicks, crime flicks.It's obvious that I'll have to revisit this section. Well, at least it's something for now.

Television:

Currenty: My name is Earl, Invasion, The Office, Will and Grace reruns, Becker, Bernie Mac, Simpsons, Family Guy, Threshold, Surface, Dharma and Greg, Enterprise, Lost, and those crazy people on cable access.Dont like: game shows, reality tv, dating shows, tv sports.

Books:

The Dark Tower series. Stranger in a Strange Land, Dune, Larry Niven's know space series, anything with time travel. Nonfiction includes: hiking/outdoors books (think: the complete walker), tech books (currenty how-to books on podcasting).

Heroes:

Joss Weadon is climbing the charts. Seriously, I don't know that I have any.
