About Me

I am an artist that has moved to Fife recently, and love it as its so near Edinburgh!! I am Scottish, but dont have the accent as i lived down south most my life, i was born in Paisley though! My husband Rob is Scottish too, with the accent - everyone up here thinks i'm english!! I do mainly spiritual and fantasy painting in oils, will put some pics up on here soon, i have an exhibition coming up in May with other local artists - which will be cool! I'm looking to join Edinburgh Art College in autumn........ if they'll have me! I'm part time self-employed, and have a shop on Ebay where is sell clothes, its called Style Icon - check it out! I also enjoy music, gigs, movies, all healthy escapist activities!!I dont really know many people in Scotland so it would be cool to meet a few Scottish peeps on here :) things i love: my husband, my fluffy white german shepherd called Ile, my cat called Muse ( yeah i know they both have pretencious name!), long hot showers, jacket potato skins, cut grass, crystals, babies with big eyes, anything cute, edinburgh, ebay, lie-ins, chocolate! Things i hate: rude people, fake people, post office queues, fat rain, reality tv, soaps, tirumasu, eggs, Tom Jones, coffee, Peter Stringfellow!

My Interests

Well i guess art would be abit of an obvious one! Listening to music, buying and selling stuff on Ebay, walking about Scotland - its so beautiful! I'm also interested in alternative therapies and spiritual stuff like starsigns, herbalism, really into crystal healing - i have sooo many crystals!!! I also love films and going to the cinema, all good healthy escapist stuff ;)

I'd like to meet:

Just people like me really, friendly, arty, spiritual, abit mad............ :p

Music:

The music i listen most to tends to be rock based like Muse (my fave), Skunk Anansie (ive met them 3 times!!), Evanescense, Garbage, Chilli Peppers, No Doubt, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, Scissor Sisters, Lauren Hill etc I do like some punk, like Me first and the gimme gimmes, but i have to be in the right mood. And then there other chill out stuff i like, for example Delerium, some Enya, some Paul van Dyke and others. I listen to music the most when i'm painting.

Movies:

There are so many movies i love: Moulin Rouge, Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, Waynes World, Donni Darko, Big Fish, (anything with Ewan McGregor in!) Lord of the Rings trilogy, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Gladiator, Bladerunner, anything i can get lost in really :)

Television:

Not that i watch that much.... Desperate Housewives, Friends reruns (although tiring of them abit now), animal hospital, location location,Will and Grace, used to watch MTV all the time but dont have it currently as i cant afford it (waaah!), spend more time on the computer than watching TV to be honest!

Books:

I dont read a huge amount, I quite liked the Celestine Prophecy books, and many other spiritual and paranormal books like 'Old Souls'. I'm not really into novels or fiction... there doesnt seem much point in reading stuff that has been made up, unless its a really good story like Lord of the Rings, but there aren't many of those! I do read magazines like Real and She, sometimes the back of a DVD will suffice..................

Heroes:

I dont know about heroes, but I quite admired Kurt cobain for a while, and Jack Black's quite funny! I love Ewan McGregor!!
