Brachial und doch melodisch, hart aber definiert, jung und trotzdem erfahren, mit jeder Menge Wut ausgestattet... und doch einer ganzen Menge Herzblut und einem Augenzwinkern dahinter:
Chantz of Noise sind 6 Jungs aus dem Saarland, die sich der brutalen, schnellen und doch melodiösen Gitarrenmusik verschrieben haben. Die Band, die im Sommer 2004 mit Namensänderung und professionellerem Songwriting den ersten Schritt in ihre eigene Richtung machte, hat nicht nur beim ersten Auftritt auf einem Bandwettbewerb direkt den ersten Platz belegt, sondern sich mittlerweile auch eine ständig wachsende Fan-Gemeinde erspielt.
Während die in den Sommern von 2004/2005 aufgenommene, ca. 300 mal verkaufte Debut-EP „Unendless Circle“ noch mehr in Richtung Screamo ging, hat sich spätestens seit dem Neuzugang eines dritten Gitarristen – einem langjährigen Freund - der Sound eindeutig dem Metal mit krachenden Mosh-Parts und häufig 2-stimmigen, aber auch interessanten 3-stimmigen Melodien zugewandt.
Live ist der Sound dieser 3 Gitarren einfach etwas Besonderes, v.a. weil die Songs keinerlei Einbußen gegenüber Aufnahmen im Studio zu verzeichnen haben.
Mit ihrem Durchschnittsalter von 21 Jahren haben Chantz of Noise schon einiges an Bühnenerfahrung gesammelt (u.a. im Vorprogramm von Sick Of It All, Fear My Thoughts, Deadlock, Neaera, Fall Of Serenity, Machinemade God, Drone…) - und das lassen sie die Zuschauer auch spüren! Ein Reporter der Saarbrücker Zeitung schrieb u.a. über uns:
„Zwar sehen sie wie unscheinbare Jungs aus. Sobald sie allerdings auf der Bühne stehen, verwandeln sie sich in eine der hoffnungsvollsten Bands an der Saar...“
Insgesamt ist es auch genau das, was die Band will: bei möglichst vielen Live-Gigs neue Bands, Leute und Orte kennen lernen, diese zum Feiern bringen und überzeugen, dass Metal der Jazz unserer Generation ist! ;-)

Chantz of Noise was founded with a new name during their recording production in August 2004. Through the rising abilities of every musician and their aim to try something new, the old name "Pogomons didn't suit for all of them anymore and so they changed to C.O.N. *Chantz of Noise*! A new way of freaking out was born!
Hard but define, young in spite of being experienced, furnished with a lot of rage and nevertheless with plenty of heart blood and a smile behind! Chantz of Noise represents the voices of an unheard nation of people who want to feel Metal in a modern way. Every one shall stand up and feel their noise - C.O.N. is gonna give to you the new hymns of an increasing subculture!
Each band member doesn't want to be specified - not in life and not in music! So they don't care anymore about people talking what kind of music they are creating! But with the time the Band is getting older and more matured ?so let's describe their music as a wild cocktail of melodic Death Metal, the new movement of European and American Metalcore and classical Heavy Metal influences.
Another special point: they play with three guitars! While two of them often play melodies for several voices as cross as two sticks, the third one plays a hard board on rhythm guitar. In special cases they play the same line with three guitars in different pitches. As you hear this strange world of sounds and melodies you are enchanted in the dark world of C.O.N. before the next following heavy part makes you tear down the place!
Chantz of Noise plays breathtaking shows - the audience is always a main part of it! On stage the band fascinates not only by the power of their three guitars and they don't lose any of it compared to their recordings. Furthermore the voice of their singer fits into every direction of Rock music - from Alternative melodies to nasty shouts and growls!
With an average age of only 21 years, C.O.N. already collected lots of experiences on support gigs with bands like Sick Of It All, Fear My Thoughts, Neaera, Deadlock, The Destiny Program, Spermbirds, Drone, Machinemade God...
A reporter of a local newspaper wrote about the guys:"Indeed they look like unconsiderable lads. But when they get on stage they turn into one of the hopefullest bands at the Saar?!"
Altogether, that's the main reason for the band: they want to play live on stage as much as possible, meet and be acquainted with new people and celebrate with the audience!
Chantz of Noise will convince all of you of the idea: Metal is our generation's Jazz! ;-)
