He works in an array of recording studios, watching the pro’s moves and tricks and does as much background and session singing work as he can get his hands on. He keeps his head above water taking any jobs that come his way; tea boy, call centre agent, kitchen porter, English teacher and translator. After years of serving his apprenticeship he is now ready to present himself and his music to the public.He returns to London and starts playing some of the most renowned independent clubs in town; ‘The Barfly’, ‘Borderline’, ’12 Bar Club’, The Cobden’ , ‘Scala’ and 'The Bedford'. Michael Ray proves a big hit with audiences in the London music scene and earns the respect of fans and fellow musicians alike.
