I generally believe that everyone we encounter has a lesson to impart or a gift of experience to share with us. However, sometimes I have to be reminded...
Whether it is the random stranger who met our three second gaze on the escalator or the most pivotal, intimate relationship of our lives, we are here to find eachother and make an impact on one another's existence.
May we all open up, choose well, love passionately, be kind and serve to remind one another why we're here!

READER'S NOTE:
Books, Books, Books!
I love BOOKS!
I have kept this section blank for some time because I tremble at the thought of listing all the titles of the fabulous volumes that have found their way into my hands. Suffice it to say, that I deam of erecting floor to ceiling bookcases to line the walls of my boudoir. Perhaps I will even add a lovely, viscofoam laden napping spot, complete with bajillion thread count, Egyptian, ringspun cotton bedding in some gemstone tinted hues. I'd also like some little ladders (like they have in NYC's Morgan Libraray) so I can access the higher volumes at will. There should be wood in rich java tones and gleaming brass accents. It will smell of nag champa and bergamot and paper at all times.
When I was a young girl, I became obsessed with reading
KURT VONNEGUT
I read almost every one of his books (pretty prolific guy) and I remember loving that there were doodles and diagrams printed amid the text. It was quite the surprising, irreverent thing to me, back then!
Dad gave me HEINLEIN at an early age. What an initiation. Stranger in a Strange Land was the thing that started my ridiculous Sci Fi penchant. I am still a total fan of the final frontier.
Actually, I was an astronaut in a past life.
My all time favorite contemporary novel, by Tom Robbins:
Jitterbug Perfume
Presently, I am addicted to reading and I am an emerging WRITER of
CREATIVE NON-FICTION (CNF)
Which I prefer to call
Literary Truth
It sort of burns me that this sensational genre should be described as something that begins with "Non" becasue I guess I am just not a fan of the un-thing.
I love fiction. I have nothing against it. I cut my teeth on fiction. But, maybe it is fiction that should be described by what it is not, instead?
Um...
We could call it Literary Untruth...
Well, maybe not.
I read a lot of non-fiction...
