DJ Genie is a young entertainer who hails from the twin island of Trinidad & Tobago. He officially began his career in February 2005, after meeting with Hott 1075 Program Director and Morning Show host, Thaao Dill. He began as an intern and was eventually allowed to be apart of a Saturday radio show. Then in late 2005, Hott 1075's Radio Diva, Miss Thang brought him to her show, it was during this time period that Genie was taught how to be a well versed radio host. His time with Miss Thang also had management taking another look at him. Executives, Elroy R.C. Smith, Glenn Blakeney, and Scott Pearman said they were going to give Genie the big break he'd been working hard for, the chance to have his own radio show.Now he has been given his own show on Saturday afternoons, Tha Two To Sixx Super Mixx with Ninja Cutty & Qianemon. He also appears on the daily 4PM Reggae Mix, and Friday nights from 10-2am on Reggae Riddims with Magic of Bermuda's Champion Sound, SOULJAH ONE. He may just be starting his career, but he's already had the chance to meet and work with many of his favorite artists such as...50 Cent, Akon, Collie Buddz, Beenie Man, & Mavado. In May of 2007 he was drafted to the Shadyville DJs roster, an elite global DJ coalition headed by G-Unit's DJ Whoo Kid. Most recently Genie was inducted into the Caribbean's premier DJ crew, The Top Gunners. Simply, DJ Genie is looking forward to having a long and eventful career. O yah...POW!!
