Dreadsentinel is a group of five musicians with a rebel-reggae sound reminiscent of groups like third world ,steel pulse,bob marley, peter tosh and the likes.The group has been working together for several years and has now put out their debut album"armageddon",a collection of ten songs with strong messages very relevant to the times we dwell in. Dreadsentinel is an off-shoot of the band "Ilect of Jah which broke up after Ray-I (a founder member) departed the shores of Guyana for the distant land of England.After decades of effort ,changes and determination, in a place of hardship and deprivation,dreadsentinel has emerged ,ready and willing to rise to the occasion,to trumpet the plight of the oppressed,to chastise the oppressors once more and to witness prophecy, in these savage times.May the Almighty bless you and keep you all by our sides,dreadfully and truthfully watching over ,and safe-guarding the beloved.
