ABOUT US: We recently moved to the Nashville area from Florida where we lived for 22 years while raising our children. We are originally from central Illinois (Go Bears!) Basically we like to have fun, meet new people, listen to good music, laugh a lot, and cheer for our favorite sports teams. We never thought we would be doing all this, but once our daughter made our page for us, we wanted to share all of our adventures with her and the rest of our friends and extended family all over the country. This just seems so much more versatile and creative than plain old email! We'll try to update our blog about once a week with stories and pictures of some of the stuff we've been doing...and if you get the chance, come visit us here in Music City! â™«

Classic rock, country, jazz, blues, & bluegrass! Too many individual artists to list (thousands!)Our daughter is a Music Teacher so of course we love all of her music, even the Italian arias; and our son plays bass in a couple of bands and even though we aren't crazy about their metal sound, we are crazy about him!

Our military men and women for protecting our freedom; Firefighters, EMTs, nurses, techs, and other medical caregivers, in the battlefields, on the roads, in clinics, hospitals and hospice facilities worldwide; Our PARENTS for teaching us the value of hard work; Our SIBLINGS for teaching us to share whether we wanted to or not, and our KIDS who remind us of our youth but also of our age, who keep us humble and make us chuckle and who we are extremely proud of for all that they have accomplished and overcome!
...and to Nancy, Alicia, Sandy, Velma, Donna, Cheryl, and Carolyn for their amazing strength and courage. We couldn't have asked for better role models! We love you all very much!
