This is a side project....a lil solo thang. The music I make on my own is all the stuff that is way too cheezy and pop for my uber cool rock/dance band, Pretty Boys. Pretty Boys is the love of my life and my ultimate passion. (Check out our page and read about our tours and songwriting collabs and our upcoming video premier on TRL for our hit Hello Bonjour!) Music is my savior, my obsession, the greatest drug and I have to do it or make it or listen to it or dance to it all times. Everything I do has a soundtrack. Growing up my two fave musical acts were Guns n Roses and Madonna.....I think everything I do sounds like a combo of the two with lots of other influences thrown in. I grew up on welfare in a really small town. I left home at 16 and grew up really fast in New York City. I came here to be an actress and I studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts but I thought it was more fun to pretend to be me then to pretend to be someone else. I've been around the world, I've tried everything. My first band was an all girl punk band called Candy Ass we were together for several years and toured our asses off! We had waaaay too much fun! But those stories will never be revealed until the tell all book gets published. My whole life people have thought I was tough and intimidating and a total bitch as well as pretty fuckin hilarious. Actually I'm a really nice and gentle person and I think the music I am making solo reflects that side...sorta kinda, well maybe not Fever but the other songs!! I started working on this album this past summer with Super Buddha...we have written about a dozen songs, the two on this page are the ones that are kinda ready...they are demo's and have not been mixed but c'mon now they sound tight! This fall I decided to expand this side project to include a ton of duets with a bunch of my favorite singers. Afterall you can't get much cheezier than a duet right?
