BLODFEST line-up and Biography:Drums and Vocals: ”Bestial Butcher ”( Legion , Domination, Wolfslair ) Bas and vocals: ”Gru den Grusomme”( Solhverv, Fallen Angel, Wolfslair) Guitars and vocals:” Valeskald”( Solhverv, Fallen Angel,Wolfslair)Blodfest was formed in 1992 as a project-band, at that time Bestial Butcher was the drummer in the band called Domination ( in –94 they changed name to Legion). Legion has released 2 demos in the mid 90´ties, and has also appeared on a compilation cd with various other Danish metal bands. Legion has now once again changed name, and is now called “ Wolfslair “, and has signed up with the danish label “ Ancient darkness productions “ a full length album entitled “ Odin “ was released in September 2005. Gru den Grusomme and Valeskald were in the band Fallen Angel, formed in -90 (changed name to Solhverv in –94) Fallen Angel released 3 demos. In 1995 Solhverv made a 4 track demo MCD called ”Gravlandets Vogtere”, and were signed by ”Euphonious Records/Voices of Wonder” in 1995. In –96 Solhverv released their debut cd ” Tågernes Årtusinde”. Only one year after i –97, Solhverv split up, and Blodfest became the main band for Gru and Valeskald. Blodfest has made several rehearsal and unofficial demos, but has chosen not to release any of them. Untill a recording made in February 2005. Blodfest music is fast-paced, aggressive and atmospheric blackmetal, The lyrics are mostly about our heathen forefathers and the glory of ancient danish kings. But also Subjects as hatred, war and occultism.
