About Me

I'm fascinated by insanity and by invention.
I like laughing and wish I was scared more.
Sometimes I have a beard.
The following is an excerpt from my most recent bio:
"Since discovering at 7 years old, that make-up and visual effects artists actually got paid to scare people in movies, Steven knew there was no other industry to be involved in but film-making. Sadly, film-making is often not about scaring people, and so, in these lesser moments, Steven concentrates on editing, compositing, design and animation for commercials, TV programs, documentaries, films, DVD menus and music videos. He also works as post-production supervisor, has won many editing awards and has worked for some large international clients on some large international projects. Some are to be proud of. Some he denies any involvement with. Such is film-making. He spends his time buried in his work somewhere between Leederville and West Perth and often goes many days without sunlight. He wears a lot of black and his teeth are large, and often bared, however this is merely coincidence and does not imply what it implies. Recently, Steven has worked on a number of photographic self-portrait details where his aim is to make the ordinary features of a face as horrific as possible. He has also commenced work on a script that will revolutionize the horror genre if he ever finds the time to finish it. Oh, and he doesn't like long walks on the beach."
Begin small © rant
I'm linking to a lot of music above. 9 hours and 43 minutes of it to be precise. I wanted my profile page to play a bunch of tracks that I love, in the same way a kid in a park tugs on his mother's arm and points at the slides. Hopefully it's seen as free marketing for the artists above, and nothing more. I don't like the idea of ripping off the people who conjure the very breath I breathe. If you like it buy it. Tell your friends to buy it. Give a portable stereo, batteries and a CD to a homeless guy. If you don't support the artists, only the corporate cockroaches will survive.
