About Me

I am currently a college student at the Art Institute of Washington. It's been a long time coming, but at least I am trying to get that education I want sooooo bad. I live in the state of confusion, been a resident since my birth. I like meeting new people, it changes up my perspective of the world. I learn something new from the people I meet, although I will be the first to admit that not everything I learn is a good thing. I work a lot, which I am trying to change up now that I am back in school.Layout made by Twilight Dreamer

My Interests

I love to draw, compose music and play a variety of instruments, devise new ways of paying for school (robbing a bank is out of the question), watching anime and any other kind of animation, and just all around meeting new people. AMV Comedians 6 (Pablo Francisco)

I'd like to meet:

I still want to meet everybody, that part is never going to change. However, I am curious about meeting people that are in the graphic arts community as well as anyone who does animation for a living, whether it's for a government contract or a studio. I've learned that I want to concentrate on concept art/storyboarding, so anyone who does that would get my attention. Oh, and I still need to meet Kevin Smith.

Music:

Okay, I listen to just about anything, that is if I like it. In between Tupac and Three Days Grace, I get a wide variety of perspectives on how pissed off people can get. Method Man is my favorite rapper, maybe I should've put him under people I want to meet. Stevie Wonder is my all time favorite musician. He's the reason why I started playing the piano to begin with. Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed are perfect for when I'm drawing. AMV Comedians 4.5 (Mitch Hedberg)

Movies:

Okay, so I've seen the new Die Hard movie and thought the action scenes were friggin awesome. I saw Transformers openning night and came to the conclusion that it was better than what I thought it would be. I still like watching this Japanese movie called Battle Royale. Everyone I have shown that movie to has gotten hooked on it. I can't wait for Rush Hour 3. AMV Comedians 2 (Dane Cook)

Television:

Nah, can't say too much on the tv category. My tv is 24/7 cartoon network. Well, maybe not 24/7. Afro Samurai doesn't come on that channel SNL

Books:

I met Brad Meltzer over the summer, so lately, I've been reading some of his books. I like to read older novels like Main Street, and Edgar Allen Poe is friggin awesome, in that slightly twisted sort of way.

Heroes:

Hmm, lets see, who are my heroes? Uh my stepdad is cool, so he may be one. Sonjay Dutt is another one, I mean, the stuff he does in the ring is insane. My friend John partly inspired me to try to pursue my dream while watching him chase his. Oh, and Wolverine, cuz he's the best at what he does.

That thing called Otakon

Well, now that it's the new year, I have to take the time to prepare for my yearly trip to an east coast anime Mecca.  I know Otakon isn't until July, but getting the hotel room now instead ...
