OUR MISSION:
To provide a positive event alternative to secular club's and concerts in Central Florida.
OUR STORY:
The Last Wave Club began in 1998, and 1999, when the founder, Sara Trollinger hosted two alternative events for Halloween. The current mayor at the time, Glenda Hood, and Sheriff Kevin Barry encouraged Sara to continue these concerts on a weekly basis. In 2002, the Last Wave club became a reality and began hosting concerts on Friday and Saturday nights. The team was spearheaded by Frank Reynoso, who managed the club and events for three years. During that time various artists have performed at the club, and thousands of people have committed themselves to a life of purpose.
In 2005, the Last Wave club closed their main facility, but continued to host events in Central Florida. Over twenty different events were hosted until we moved to our current location. This centralized location in East Orlando will provide a venue for the Last Wave Club in 2007, as we continue to raise funds for a new location in the city.
The Last Wave is an outreach of the Body of One Ministries , dedicated to serving the community, the local church and the youth of Central Florida by offering a message of hope, healing and restoration.
