About Me

Hmmm....I work and I go to school. I wonder if I'll be 50 by the time I get a four-year degree. I wonder if I'll find true happiness through real things. I wonder if I'll get married and have children. I wonder if when I die people will miss and remember me.I think the world can be a pretty scary place and it can easily feel safe to hide. I think many people have no desire to have compassion in there lives. I think the possibilities are endless with a few barriers in between.I know I am still looking for many things. I know I still have a sort of faith that not everyone's intentions are stained. I know that I give up on things to easily. I know people have the ability to change, it's a matter of admitting a fault.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Dali Lama. Kurt Vonnegut. Trent Reznor. There are more people I wish I could have met. Maybe in the next world. Albert Einstein, Charles Bukowski, the Beats, Ginsberg, Burroughs and Kerouac. Kurt Cobain, Henry David Thoreau, Ezra Pound. Pretty much any writer that was considered to be eccentric, or mad....

Bright Eyes, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Helium, Modest Mouse, Deftones, Pearl Jam, Sleater-Kinney

Books:

Hmmmmmm..... I read everything from children's fairy tales to Nietzsche. I will read any book by any author. I don't think there is such a thing as a bad book. What I may not like could be someone else's favorite.

Heroes:

My grandparents. My mother and my sister. Anyone who has fought for something they believe in. People who are humble and live for what is important and real, not for status or wealth.
