D.J.A. is only part of the nick, and the name of Predrag Stevanovic one - man music unit. The Belgrade based producer gives us music, and weired electronic style of the sensuality. Living in Belgrade, Serbia but very offten goes to Monte Negro catching their atmosphere, taste and mediteranian sense for music. As a child he received classical music training by listening TANGERINE DREAM, and KRAFTWERK, wich causes first inerests and contacts with that kind of music. Some years later, truly pleased with the sound of Detroit and Berlin, create a vision of tekno and started to visiting and watching electronic and minimal events, where he is learning a lot of DJ's who were mixing in Belgrade. Like minimal tekno at its best, never thinking too much about the music, always have the straight vision. Inspired with stunning production by David Lynch, and artists like Richard Hawtin, D.J.A. creates his weird bass - melodic and very sick noise, inteligent percussive, synth compositions, deep bass constructs and weired melody sequences. All live and in full effect. His music is also inspired by his own life, and peoples around them.
